Floyd has gone”fishing with the guys” for several years now and has enjoyed it very much. He has taken different guys with him over the years and this year he invited James (the other grandfather) with him. I am sure he is having a great time. He however scheduled the removal of several trees from our lot this week. I understood that little Gene was to start on them tomorrow, so was just messing around the house and getting ready to go SHOPPING. As all who know me are aware, I am hard of hearing and had not bothered to put my hearing aids in yet. But some noises even I can hear. Before I became aware of what was going on two big tractor type trucks, etc. had been here for long enough to have taken most of the top out of the tree in the front yard. So no shopping. I have been going in and out of the house with camera in hand. Hopefully I have some pictures. I would hate for Floyd to miss all of the excitement.
i know gene is good at what he does but i gotta say there is no way i would be in that house while big trees were being chopped down. i would definitely be somewhere else.
I am in and out. The limb over the bedroom is almost gone. BTW this is not Gene, but his son Little Gene. I don’t know if we told you that Big Gene died in January.
