What a Thanksgiving!
On the way to Oak Alley, we stopped in Biloxi for a good Thanksgiving Day meal. We arrived about 3:00 and checked in to the old servants quarters behind the “big house”. It was cozy warm and ready for us.

Ahhhhhhh to sleep late! I woke up about 7:30, fixed coffee, and sat outside until Evelyn awoke about 8:00. We had a breakfast of smoked sausage, toast and milk, then went exploring. We toured Fort Gaines and it was very interesting and fun, the blacksmith shop was kinda cool.
